2020 Rodeo update from the President

It is with great regret the Mareeba and District Rodeo Association informs you all that after a lot of consideration and discussion it has been decided to cancel the 2020 Mareeba Rodeo. I appreciate that our decision will affect not only our community but the entire state but believe we have been left with no option. We thank all sponsors and supporters for their continued support and now look to building a bigger and better 2021 Mareeba Rodeo.

At present The Mareeba Rodeo Ground is only open to those participating in essential travel, as per government guidelines.

From June 12 recreational travelers, whose permanent address is within 250 kms, may also stay.

NO ENTRY BETWEEN THE HOURS OF 5PM AND 8AM

At the the gate you must call the appropriate number on the sign and follow the instructions given. All new potential residents must apply to reside by completing a document outlining their movements to ensure we are not at risk.

WE APPRECIATE YOUR UNDERSTANDING AND PATIENCE AT THIS TIME

STAY SAFE

Proudly sponsored by Ringers Western

With nearly 14000 spectators through the gates this year's Rodeo was a hit.  The new attraction of the Big Screen allows all to see the action up close and personal.  Also there was new seating built, with more to come.

Big thanks to our sponsors, volunteers, competitors and Mareeba town.

Looking forward to 2020, hope to see you there
