Rodeo Cancelled

It is with great regret that the Mareeba District Rodeo Association has made the difficult decision to cancel the 2021 Mareeba Rodeo and Festival.

Traditionally, this event draws crowds of over 10,000 people making it a high-risk event for the potential transmission of COVID-19.

Queensland Health has put regulations in place to manage this risk, however the Rodeo Association does not have the funds, manpower and infrastructure required to run the event within these regulations.

See you all in 2022 for the Mareeba Rodeo and Festival – bigger and better than ever.
